Mary has a passion for teaching mathematics in ways that make sense to the learner. She believes all can and want to learn.Mary is a university instructor who teaches teachers how to teach math. She also teaches graduate classes in Diagnosis and Remediation in Mathematics. Since math is patterns, the mathematical errors we make are based on misunderstanding and follow patterns.Zeppelin is the recipient of the Oakland University Teaching Excellence Award, is the Past-President of the Detroit Area Council of Teachers of Mathematics and is a former 7th grade Math teacher at Mason Middle School in Waterford.Mary is a wife, mother, step-mother and grandmother.
